Approximately 88,000 deaths each year in the United States result from alcohol-related causes, making it one of the leading preventable causes of death in the United States. Excessive alcohol use can be harmful to your health, both in the short and long term.
People who drink heavily or binge drink are at a significantly higher risk of developing alcohol problems. Here are some ways you can cut back on your alcohol consumption:
Set limits – no more than two drinks per day for men, and no more than one drink per day for women
